Work Visas for Czech Students in Canada
The Student Work Abroad Program (SWAP) allows young people from the Czech Republic to work in Canada. The Agreement between the Czech Republic and Canada promoting youth mobility has come into force.
Short-term Work for Young Czechs
Young Canadians and young Czechs wishing to engage in short-term employment, to complete an internship or a cooperative program, or to participate in a Working Holiday Program in these countries, should send their applications to Canadian or Czech authorities.
SWAP Work Stays Agreement Ratified
This Agreement which aims to facilitate temporary work stays was signed on November 2006 in Ottawa and was ratified by the President of the Czech Republic on 4 August 2007. This Agreement will make it easier for young Canadian and Czech adults, aged 18 to 35 to, obtain a work permit in the other country.
