Rocky Mountains Tour Itinerary
We have two bus routes, the northern and the southern. On regular weekends (not
long weekends) we travel the southern route. On long weekends we have
buses going in both directions. All times are approximate.
The southern route is Revelstoke, Banff, Valemount and back to Vancouver. The northern route is Valemount, Canmore, Revelstoke and back to Vancouver.
Here's the itinerary for the southern route:
Rocky Mountains Bus Tour - Day 1
· Depart Vancouver at 1:00
· Travel over the Coastal Mountains on the scenic Coquihalla Highway.
· Tour through the north Okanagan Valley. This is BC's summer playground!
· Tour through the Shuswap Lake area and Sicamous - the houseboat capital
of Canada!
· Into Revelstoke with Views of Revelstoke National Park.
Rocky Mountains Bus Tour - Day 2
· Depart Revelstoke at 7:30 am.
· Tour through Glacier National Park.
· Tour through Yoho National Park.
· Visit Lake Louise and Moraine Lake (in season)
· Into Banff in the late afternoon for a sightseeing tour, shopping,
and check into our hotel for the night.
Rocky Mountains Bus Tour - Day 3
· Depart Canmore at 7:30 am.
· Tour past famous Castle Mountain.
· Travel the scenic Icefields Parkway. Tour includes Crowfoot Glacier;
beautiful Bow Lake; and stunning Peyto Lake (in season).
· The Columbia Icefields and the world famous Snow Coach tour!
· See Athabasca Falls before moving on to Jasper.
· Tour past Mount Robson (the highest mountain in the Canadian Rockies!).
· To Valemount for a hotel check in.
Rocky Mountains Bus Tour - Day 4
· Depart Valemont at 8:00 am.
· Tour the scenic Yellowhead Highway
· Back into Vancouver.
The Northern route sees all the same sights and attractions, but travels the
opposite direction.
