Boeing Museum of Flight in Seattle

The Museum of Flight has 54 authentic and well-preserved old airplanes, including a mint-condition Concorde, a de Havilland Comet, and an FM-2 Wildcat. You can see the history of aviation first-hand in the museum's Great Gallery. Dozens of full-size aircraft fly in formation six stories overhead.

At the Museum of Flight, you can get right into the cockpits of some of the greatest planes, including a real SR-71 Blackbird and an F/A-18 Hornet. Take a look around Air Force One, America's first presidential jet. You can even visit the Red Barn, the impeccably restored birthplace of the Boeing Company. Activities include hands-on children's workshops, fly-ins, and interaction with the people who made aviation history. Experience the story of flight from the dawn of aviation to the Space Age.
