    This course is designed for advanced learners who are taking part in the Business Internship Program. It is designed to prepare them for the Canadian workplace and to assist them in the interview process to secure a successful internship with a Vancouver company in their preferred field or industry. One major highlight of the program is a video recorded mock interview designed to give the students an opportunity to practice their language skills and to watch themselves as a means to improving their skills for the internship interview.

    Students will learn how to write a resume, cover letter construction, business reading, interview skills, meeting-negotiation skills, writing and speaking skills, vocabulary enhancement, and telephoning skills.

    Enhance descriptive vocabulary of self (action words, adjectives)

    Identify and express career objectives
    Develop strategies for passing interviews
    Increase vocabulary for meetings
