Student Testimony

Hello, I'm Kleber Yamamuro from Brazil and I came in Canada to learn English. I choose Business Internship Program (Paid Internship) because I want to practice more English conversation and learn living with Canadian people (different culture). I am in Canmore about 5 months, just one left to go home and I'm so happy about my English and the experience acquired here. I'm working in the Hotel (Falcon Crest Lodge) where I learned a lot of things. My jobs are Houseman and Housekeeping, hard work but very nice! Nobody said is going to be easy, sometimes you have a difficult day but you need think why you are here and the objective need be the biggest for you no give up! For sure I'm other person now! This program is a good challenge. When I started the English course I couldn't say one word and now I'm living alone where nobody speak Portuguese (my first language). This is unbelievable! The first three months were very important for me because Vancouver English Centre where all workers and professors are fabulous teach me the things most important in grammar and conversation for me live and use for all my life! The first real challenge was the interview for the job because was by phone! But was not difficult because I was already!

My English grammar is not good enough, but is because I studied just for 3 months. I started in the level 1B and even so I could do the BINT! Believe in me when I say nothing is impossible! Hehehe

Thank you so much Vancouver English Centre! You are the Best!

Kleber Yamamuro.
