Interns in Banff and Canmore are offered inexpensive furnished accommodation by their employers. Although quality varies, interns' quarters are usually quite comfortable. If you are lucky, you might even find yourself in quite a luxurious building.

Typically, two interns share a bedroom. Most intern residences have cooking facilities. Others provide buffet-style meals at a very low cost.

Employers usually charge anywhere from zero to CAD$15 per night for accommodation. Employers that charge less for rent usually pay lower wages, so be sure to think about the rent, as well as the wages, before you accept a position.
