The "new economy" work style demands that we move at jet-like speed. Action is the thing that brings into account flexibility and adaptability to the new global economy. We need to always be on the ball. We need to constantly interact with the world and to achieve this we have to get rid of fears, anguish and negative ideas. I am convinced that education must keep abreast of the new demands that society imposes on us. That is why I decided to come to Vancouver English Centre and improve my business language skills.
Challenge
I would like to say that wherever I feel that something represents a challenge, there I am. I found the topics of the course to be thought - provoking. They helped in preparing me for my internship in Canada. The practice I had working for the Long Beach Model Forest helped me improve not only my skills but also allowed me to work in a Canadian environment. I feel proud of this. Opportunities presented themselves and I was able to take advantage of them.
The Business Internship Program is very challenging. You have to do your best during the course and after that you have the possibility to network with different cultures and different languages. This makes you improve without thinking about your English skills. Working in Canada is really nice, since people are friendly and helpful. You grow with this exceptional experience. Vancouver English Centre is always ready to better your opportunities. Now, you have to decide if you want that challenge or not!
