Professional (Unpaid) Internship in aerospace industry
First of all, I would like to say 1,000 times thank you to Wendy for her kind support in offering me an internship in the aerospace field. I am also thankful for Khun Parinda, Khun Stephanie for all of their assistance.
I was accepted for my internship in the department of LEAN Promotion, which works on every cost reduction project. We design/define projects, deal with events, follow up after the events, brief all employees and prepare reports for the Management. I am so busy almost every day because there are many things to do at the same time!!
The first project that I worked on was Material Management. It is about control material flow and stock by visual method. Last week we had an engineer from the head office in Belgium here to discuss on the project. I learned new knowledge from my boss and this engineer almost every day. I improved my listening and speaking skills very fast working in an English-speaking environment. I also learned new things about western and European culture from my colleagues every day.
The Internship team and their services at Vancouver English Centre are so good. Not only myself, many of my friends are successful and gained experience in specialized fields because Wendy and her assistant always put the right man/woman in the job that best suited them.
