Hey there, people from all over the world!
I had a great time at VEC this summer. I was a student in the Business Internship class from July to August, 2005. I spent 4 weeks at school, gaining necessary business skills and learning a lot about business in Canada.
Also, being a student at VEC means communicating a lot. Communication with lots of great people from all over the world is what I always enjoy! This was a fantastic time we had in Vancouver with my friends from VEC! During that 4 weeks, I've managed to learn more than during a year at the University. My English has improved significantly, I've learned a lot! All the information was really necessary then, when I've started my internship in the company.
I spent 6 weeks as an intern in Effective Events Management company, where I could successfully reveal my professional skills (as I am about to get my Public Relations bachelor degree in Russia) and gain a great experience. Working in the company, I felt fully integrated into the business society of marvelous Vancouver. I was treated really well at the office and I'm still in touch with my chief and colleagues, who have become
friends for me.
Both studying at VEC and being an intern in the company have contributed a lot in my career. I've become more self-confident and successful in my career. Sincerely, I'd like to get back to Canada. I'd recommend Business Internship program to everyone, who has a buzz for success!
