From time to time, VEC also takes on one of its own Business Internship students in order to help in our Marketing Department. Some typical duties for a Marketing Intern may include market research, web site content editing, web marketing or general marketing project support.
This Blog records the daily work experiences of our VEC Business Interns. It's fun to read, and will give you an idea of what it's like to be an Intern at a busy Canadian company.
Vancouver English Centre is Canada's leading language school. In addition to teaching a variety of ESL course (English as a Second Language), VEC provides a Business Internship Program, which actively places our ESL students with local Canadian businesses. This program gives the student valuable work experience, plus cultural and language experience.
For the employer, it is a cost-effective way to augment their staff while helping a student develop valuable career experience and skills.
