Student Residences
We always recommend homestays in Vancouver to students. A Vancouver homestay offers a pleasant and practical way to learn about the Canadian lifestyle quickly. We arrange homestays for the specific needs of each student. If students prefer though, our homestay department can arrange accommodation in hotels or apartments. Total expenses for shared accommodation in modest downtown apartments are similar to homestays in Vancouver. One bedroom apartments cost CAD$600 to CAD$1000 per month.

There are also good student residences in Vancouver. These are usually in large houses in residential neighborhoods. Students usually share a bedroom with one to three other people. The residences sometimes include amenities such as bicycles or fitness rooms. The cost is CAD$500 to CAD$800 per month.

Some of our students live in shared apartments. Apartments are sometimes passed on from one student to another when they leave Vancouver. The school does not become involved in these arrangements, since they are always very individual. If you rent an apartment in Vancouver, be sure to check the lease carefully. Students sometimes have problems when they rent apartments on a casual basis.
