Lighthouse Park in West Vancouver

Of all the parks in the Vancouver area, Lighthouse Park could be considered the most spiritual. Perched on the ocean's edge in picturesque West Vancouver, Lighthouse Park contains the last stand of old growth forest in the area. Standing amongst these giant trees and looking straight up to see their tops is a memorable experience.
Lots of hiking trails wind their way around the park with several challenging changes in elevation. Small picnic areas are scattered amongst the big trees. Several rocky outcroppings present wonderful vistas of Vancouver and Vancouver Island. Along the forest floor it remains cool, even on hot days. Come along on a Vancouver English Centre sightseeing excursion and enjoy the natural wonders of Lighthouse Park
