Events at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver
There will be a number of events in the 2010 Winter Olympics. They will be taking place in various locations around Vancouver and Whistler.
Ice hockey, figure skating, curling and short track speed skating, along with the opening and closing ceremonies will take place in the City of Vancouver. Vancouver's University of British Columbia will also host some hockey events. Richmond will host the speed skating events at a new facility near the Vancouver International Airport. Cypress Mountain will hold snowboarding and freestyle skiing.
For Whistler, the events will be alpine skiing, biathlon, cross country skiing, Nordic combined, ski jumping, bobsleigh, luge, and skeleton, as well as all the Paralympic events.
