BVP Entrance Requirements

• High school graduation
• All international students are required to have a valid study permit, passport and medical insurance.
• All students take the VEC placement test to determine their appropriate level.

Prerequisites:

• Completion of VEC Level 5B (Lower-Advanced English) and Writing 3.
• Participants will decide on a business concept, and they will develop a complete business plan based on this concept.
• Basic computer skills (intermediate level spreadsheet and word processing course).
• All students must complete Term 1, before beginning Term 2.
• If an inventor or manufacturer, must be at the prototype stage.

Opportunities

• Graduates can immediately put their new skills to work in launching a business.
• Graduates can assess any business opportunity and write a business plan for it.
• Graduates have the opportunity to participate in a global business network.
