Academic Preparation Program

The Course

The Academic Preparation Program is a one-month, Intensive program designed for students who wish to continue their studies at college or university. Students will be encouraged to develop independence in reading academic texts, in writing essays and a research paper, in participating in level-appropriate oral/ aural activities including debates, discussions and presentations, and in applying learning strategies and research skills effectively. Once completed successfully, students have options available at VEC's partner institutes.

Intensive Schedule
  • Classes held Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 3:40 PM and Friday 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
  • Friday study block from 1:00 PM to 3:40 PM with the help of an instructor
Pre-requisites – students must complete 4 of the following courses to enter APP.
