When was VEC established?
VEC was established in 1993. The first campus was on Howe Street. VEC moved to the new campus in 2002.
How many classrooms are there?
There are 47 classrooms and 6 computer labs in the VEC campus.
How many students study at VEC?
The number of students changes throughout the year. At some times, there might be as few as 300 students. During busy times, the number can rise to 550. Throughout most of the year, however, there are usually 350 to 450 students.
What makes VEC special?
VEC has developed a very sophisticated curriculum over the last 13 years. We have our own series of textbooks to complement our curriculum.
VEC has 15 levels. You will be placed in our grammar and conversation classes according to your own abilities in these subjects.
When can I use the computer labs?
You will have access to over 60 computers in four labs. You may use the labs every day. The labs are open from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm, from Monday to Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, they are open from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. There is no charge for this service.
